Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you visit this website and buy the e-book Breaking the Hidden Chains. We care about your privacy, and this is a personal subject, so we collect as little data as we can.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is FaithElevate AS, organization number 935 880 238, registered in Norway. Contact: contact@faithelevate.com.
2. What data we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, and billing country or address needed to complete your order and send your receipt and download.
Payment information: your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Automatic information: when you visit the site, we may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, and how you use the pages, through cookies and similar tools.
We do not ask for sensitive details about your personal struggles, and you should not send them to us.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
We use your data to: process your order and deliver the e-book (to perform our contract with you); provide receipts and customer support (contract and our legitimate interest); keep the site secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest and legal duty); meet accounting and tax duties (legal obligation); and, only with your consent, run analytics and marketing.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the site and fulfil your order, including: our website host, WooCommerce (store), Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, a security provider (Wordfence), and — only where you have given consent — analytics and advertising tools such as Google and Meta. These providers process data on our behalf under agreements that protect your data.
5. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to make the site and checkout work. With your consent, we may also use analytics and marketing cookies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and change your choice at any time, through the cookie settings on the site.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep order and accounting records for as long as the law requires. Support messages, analytics, and other data are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for, and then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use these rights, email contact@faithelevate.com.
If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
9. Marketing
Buying the e-book does not sign you up for marketing emails. We only send marketing if you give separate consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always shown on this page.
